1. About Us

Surveyor AI is operated by Surveyor AI Solutions Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17098695. By using our platform you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. The Service

Surveyor AI provides an AI-assisted property survey report platform for qualified surveyors. The platform allows users to upload inspection photographs, generate draft reports using AI, edit and finalise reports, and export to PDF and Word formats.

AI-generated content is a draft aid only. You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and approving all content before it is used professionally or delivered to clients. Surveyor AI Solutions Ltd accepts no liability for the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated report content.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a qualified or trainee property surveyor to use this service. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at support@surveyorai.io if you suspect any unauthorised access. We are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorised use of your account.

5. Subscription & Payment

• Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via Stripe.
• A 7-day free trial is offered on new subscriptions. No charge is made during the trial period.
• You may cancel at any time via the customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
• Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods except where required by law.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
• Upload content that is defamatory, fraudulent, or infringes third-party rights.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, copy, or replicate the platform's software, design, workflows, or user interface for any purpose, including the development of a competing product or service.
• Access the platform under false pretences, including registering an account for the purpose of competitive intelligence, product analysis, or intellectual property misappropriation.
• Share account credentials with unauthorised individuals.
• Use AI-generated reports without professional review and sign-off.

We actively monitor usage patterns. Accounts that exhibit behaviour inconsistent with genuine professional use — including accessing the platform without uploading inspection data — may be investigated and suspended without notice.

7. Your Content

You retain ownership of all survey data, photographs, and reports you create. By uploading content you grant Surveyor AI Solutions Ltd a limited licence to process and store that content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

8. AI Technology & No Training on Your Data

We will never use your data to train AI models. Your survey photographs, inspection notes, report content, and client data are never used to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI model. No third party is granted permission to use your content for AI training purposes. AI features process your data solely to deliver the output you have requested, in real time, and for no other purpose. AI-generated report content is a draft aid only. You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and approving all AI-generated content before it is used professionally or delivered to clients. Surveyor AI Solutions Ltd accepts no liability for the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated content.

9. Intellectual Property

All platform software, design, branding, and AI models remain the property of Surveyor AI Solutions Ltd. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the platform as described.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Surveyor AI Solutions Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the service and are not liable for losses caused by downtime or technical failures.

11. Professional Responsibility & Regulatory Compliance

• Surveyor AI Solutions Ltd is a software provider only. We are not a regulated surveying practice, are not regulated by RICS, and do not hold or provide professional indemnity insurance in respect of report content.
• All reports generated through the platform are AI-assisted drafts. The qualified surveyor or firm issuing the report is solely responsible for its accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable professional standards, including RICS Standards and Guidance, the RICS Rules of Conduct, and any relevant codes of practice.
• By exporting and issuing a report, you confirm that you have reviewed, verified, and approved its entire content and that it meets the professional standards required of you.
• Where a RICS Regulated Firm declaration or logo is displayed on a report, the firm using this platform takes full responsibility for ensuring that declaration is accurate and that it has the necessary authorisation from RICS to display the “Regulated by RICS” mark. Surveyor AI Solutions Ltd performs no verification of RICS regulatory status.
• Surveyor AI Solutions Ltd accepts no liability for any complaint, regulatory investigation, disciplinary action, or claim arising from a report produced, issued, or relied upon by any user or firm.
• You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Surveyor AI Solutions Ltd against any claim, loss, or expense arising from your use of the platform to produce reports delivered to third parties.

This platform creates no contractual relationship, duty of care, or obligation of any kind between Surveyor AI Solutions Ltd and any third party, including the clients, buyers, sellers, or any other person who receives or relies upon a report produced using this service. Any claim, complaint, dispute, or legal action brought by a surveyor's client or any other third party in connection with a report issued by a user of this platform is solely a matter between that third party and the surveyor or firm who produced and issued the report. Surveyor AI Solutions Ltd is not a party to that relationship and will not be liable in connection with it. The use of this platform does not reduce, transfer, or qualify the professional liability of the surveyor or firm issuing the report in any way.

12. Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately and without prior notice if you:

• Breach any provision of these Terms.
• Fail to make payment when due.
• Engage in conduct we reasonably believe is harmful to other users, the platform, or Surveyor AI Solutions Ltd.
• Use the platform for competitive intelligence, product copying, or any purpose other than genuine property surveying work.
• Exhibit usage patterns inconsistent with professional surveying activity.

Suspended accounts will be notified by email at the address registered on the account. If you believe a suspension has been applied in error, contact admin@surveyorai.io. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@surveyorai.io.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice with at least 7 days' notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
